Allen Packaging has a history of extraordinary employee longevity with the company, and our group presently averages about 15 years with the company! We are proud to share some information about each of our departments and the employees that create our success.

Our Founder

Jim Allen, Founder and CEO, started Allen Packaging in 1982. Jim’s vision was an environment where employees enjoyed their work and provided outstanding service to customers.

Today, Jim remains active in the Company and is also involved in the Orange County Sheriff’s Advisory Counsel and on the board of The United Group (a national buying group for the packaging industry).

Customer Service

Our Customer Service group, Fernando, Gloria, Irma and Danny, pride themselves on knowing and understanding our customers’ business needs. We invite you to contact us and find out how we can help.


The Purchasing department includes Melanie, Olga & Gerri. Their product expertise includes: corrugated, chipboard, poly flexible films, interior packaging and tape as well as the ability to source new items, manufacturers and processes to fit our customer’s needs.


Our Finance group consists of Joy (Controller), Terri and Missy. They bring a vast amount of company knowledge and accounting experience to Allen Packaging. Whether you are a customer or a supplier, this group offers friendly, accurate, timely & professional service.


Our Warehouse team is made up of Joe, Enock, Victor, Ana and George. They use their combined knowledge of processes, products, distribution, manufacturing and fulfillment, to offer an efficient, productive and consistent service to Allen Packaging’s customers and suppliers.


Our Driving team of Carlos, Cam, Earle, Armando and Pat, maintains a high level of safety consciousness while navigating the Southern California freeways. Each driver involves themselves with the processes in the warehouse and customer service so they have an understanding of products and customer needs in providing on-time and accurate deliveries.


Our service technician, Steve, has formal factory training from a variety of equipment manufacturers. We are able to offer maintenance and service on shrink film tunnels & sealers, stretch wrappers, tape machines, case erectors, strapping machines and much more.


Our Sales staff brings experience in retail, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, clean room, food processing and food service, offering innovative ideas, designs and solutions. Corporate Coordination

Chief Operating Officer, Cheryl Centonze joined Allen Packaging in 1992 with industry experience and a clear vision of the components of a successful, efficient and ethical company.

President, Scot Obler is a CPA and graduate of the USC Marshall School of Business, and part of Allen Packaging management for over 20 years.

Cheryl and Scot also coordinate the company’s involvement in community work as well as being individually committed to important Southern California non-profit projects and organizations.
